LAVA-ANALYTICS: The analytical video solution based on Artificial Intelligence that meets the needs of the railway sector

The LAVA (Lanaccess Video Analytics) series provides dedicated hardware and video algorithms based on neural networks to provide Artificial Intelligence to any System.

Equipment and Applications (HW & SW) for intelligent video analytics made entirely by Lanaccess, designed to work efficiently, safely and with high reliability.

Analytics hardware modules boast unmatched performance and energy efficiency, effectively delivering the power of modern AI and Deep Learning.

On the one hand we have stand alone analytical hardware modules, and on the other hand there is also the possibility of incorporating the video analytics module in some of the Lanaccess video recorders.

Unlike traditional analytics, analytics built into Lanaccess AI modules based on neural networks do not require camera calibration or scenarios.

LAVA-RAILS

LAVA-RAILS has specific functions for the railway sector, specifically it allows to discard alarms due to the presence of train, this analytic can be used on platforms to detect only the fall of a person in the track box as well as the voluntary crossing of these.

Thanks to this functionality, it allows to discriminate the alarms that occur where a train is detected, thus avoiding false alarms when people board or are on the train.

The Rails analytics also includes LAVA-PROTECT analytics among its functionalities. The intrusion detection analytics allows defining different zones to be analyzed per channel and detects the presence of people in the configured zones,

Thanks to the tracking functionality, it is also possible to configure the following additional rules:

  • Loitering: you configure the seconds that one or more people must remain loitering within a defined area to generate an alarm.
  • Directional line crossing: In addition to zones, lines can be drawn. These lines can be bidirectional (generates an alarm when a person crosses that line in any direction), or directional (generates an alarm when a person crosses the line in the defined direction).

LAVA-DENSITY

The analytics assesses the number of people in the camera’s viewing area using a model specially trained to estimate the level of occupation density of any space, both indoors and outdoors.

Allows you to configure classification thresholds based on a number of people, to label the scene according to low, medium or high occupancy density.

Thanks to the option to configure density thresholds and the sending of alarms in real time when a certain threshold is exceeded, this analytic facilitates the operator or guardian to activate surveillance, evacuation or momentary prohibition of the passage of people in a certain area. TOF cameras: Lathe fraud detection and people counting

Time-of-Flight cameras offer data that goes beyond traditional analytics. These cameras are based on the principle that each of the pixels determines the distance from the camera to the object, being able to create maps of the situation of people in real time. Main applications:

  • Being able to detect fraud in the station access turnstiles, by being able to discriminate when two or more people pass through the turnstile at the same time.
  • It also counts, with a reliability of 96%, the people entering and leaving the station.

Our video recorders have their own real-time operating system, protecting them from massive attacks that attack Windows devices (such as Wannacry) and / or Linux. If we also add the exclusive hardware design, we make it even more difficult to create specific viruses against Lanaccess systems.

The PoE + CCTV switch that video recorders incorporate is a very useful tool for cybersecurity. It allows you to completely isolate the IP cameras from the corporate network, and automatically monitor the connection of devices (if it detects that a camera has been replaced by another device, it can block the port automatically).

In addition, our NVRs have specific tools for detecting denial of service DDoS attacks.
